ABOUT THE CORDINER’S LAND RESIDENTS’ ASSOCIATION (CLRA)

The CLRA was re-formed in 1998, in accordance with the Cordiner’s Land Deed Of Conditions.  All flat owners are automatically members, with equal voting rights of 1 vote per property. Cordiner's Land shopkeepers, residential tenants and letting agents are also welcome to attend and participate in CLRA meetings, but have no voting rights.

CLRA directly manages all day to day factoring; repairs & maintenance; financial matters; and maintains a Common Building Insurance Policy for Cordiner's Land residential apartments. (The shops are not covered by this policy.)

A recent major project for CLRA was the compilation and introduction of the Scheme of Regulations. This process was undertaken over a considerable period of time, with excellent support and input from a large number of owners. Legal advice was also sought. This resulted in Regulations which should maintain the ongoing excellent community spirit within Cordiner's Land, and ensure protection of the property.

CLRA MANAGEMENT
Annual elections are held for Office Bearers’ positions. Any owner is welcome to propose themselves for election. A seconder is required.
